When our “stress buckets” are half full, we can more easily manage whatever events or circumstances life may toss our way. However, when our stress buckets become filled close to capacity, whether it is due to career, studies, relationships, endless responsibilities or deadlines, it may not take much for our buckets to overflow, leaving us feeling completely stressed out. Being stressed out looks different for different people. Some may cry easily. Others become extremely irritable. Some people are exhausted. Some even become very itchy, experience stomach aches, or headaches. These are all signs that your stress bucket is overflowing. There is good news though. Regardless of what your situation is and its unique stressors, there are simple, helpful, easy to learn techniques that will have you decompressing, feeling calm and capable in no time!
